Choose the item type
The Add New Item area in Prescription Items gives you three options, depending on what you are adding:
Add Medication for a medicine.
Add Supplement & Wellness Products for supplements and wellness items.
Add Medical Devices & Supplies for devices and supplies.
Click the option you need. A new item card opens for that type.
Add supplement or wellness product details
Search for the product (optional)
Type into Supplement / Beauty Search. A dropdown list of matching products appears as you type. Click a result to fill in the fields automatically, or switch to Custom Entry to enter the details manually instead.
Enter the Name and Preparation
Both fields are required.
Enter the Amount and Number of Packs
Both fields are required. Number of Packs defaults to 1.
Add Dosage & Duration Instructions
This field is optional.
Add medical device or supply details
Search for the item (optional)

Enter the Number of Packs
This field is required and defaults to 1.
Add Usage Instructions
This field is optional.
đď¸ Note: Syringes and other injectable supplies are added under Medical Devices & Supplies, not under Add Medication.
Both item types also let you enable repeat dispensing and show an estimated cost:
đĄ Tip: Turn on Enable repetitions to have a supplement or device item dispensed multiple times over a period, the same as a repeat prescription for medication. Estimated cost only shows when you select a product from search - custom entries show no price information.
