How to Attach a Scan of the Physical Script to a CD Prescription

Learn how to upload a scan of the physical script when creating a Schedule 2 or 3 controlled drug prescription.

Uploading a scan of the physical script

  1. Select the CD level under Controlled Substance Classification.

Do this when creating the script. This is for manually entering the medication. If you use Medicine Search instead, Healistic identifies the CD level automatically.

  2. Click "Upload a file" under Upload FP10PCD Form (optional).

This appears on the same screen. Choose the relevant file to attach a scan of the physical script. This step is optional. Accepted formats are PDF, PNG, JPG, and JPEG, up to 5MB.

💡 Tip: An overprint template for the FP10PCD form can be downloaded from the prescription details after the prescription is issued.

Why this doesn't replace the physical FP10

Uploading a scan doesn't remove the need to post the physical FP10 to the pharmacy. It gives the pharmacy an early check that the FP10 is compliant and matches the digital script, before the medication is posted out to the patient.

🗒️ Note: If the physical prescription doesn't match the digital script once it arrives, the order is held and you're notified of next steps.
