Set Up Two-Factor Authentication - For Prescribers and Clinics

Add an extra layer of security to your prescriber account by setting up two-factor authentication with an authenticator app.

Sign in to your account

To set up two-factor authentication, first sign in to your prescriber account.

  1. Enter your email address in the Email field on the Sign in as Prescriber screen.

  2. Enter your password in the Password field.

  3. Sign in to open your account.

Set up two-factor authentication

Once you are signed in, open your account settings and set up an authenticator app as your second factor.

  1. Select Settings in the left-hand menu.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page to find the Two-Factor Authentication section.

  3. Select Enable in the Two-Factor Authentication section.

  4. Open your authenticator app on your phone, or open your authenticator browser extension on your computer.

  5. Scan the QR code shown on screen with your authenticator app. If you cannot scan it, choose the option to enter a setup key manually and type the key shown on screen instead.

  6. Enter the verification code from your authenticator app in the Verification Code field.

  7. Select Verify & Enable to finish turning on two-factor authentication.

🗒️ Note: An authenticator app generates a one-time code that you enter alongside your password each time you sign in. Healistic works with common authenticator apps, including Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, and 1Password.

🗒️ Note: The QR code and setup key shown during setup are unique to your account. Keep them private and never share them with anyone.

💡 Tip: If you change phones or switch authenticator apps, set two-factor authentication up again on the new device so you can keep receiving codes.
