How the clinic account model works
Healistic uses a clinic account model. One clinic account sits underneath all of the people who work there, and individual users are added to it rather than each person setting up a separate, unconnected account.
This means a clinic with several prescribers, or a mix of prescribers and administrators, works from a single shared account rather than juggling separate logins that don't talk to each other.
Every prescriber signs in with their own login
Although the clinic account is shared, each prescriber has their own individual login. You sign in with your own email address and password, and issue prescriptions under your own name and professional registration number, whether that's your GMC, HCPC, GDC, GOC, GPhC, or NMC number.
🗒️ Note: Your personal account details, such as your name and registration number, are part of your Account Information and appear on the prescriptions you issue. See Update Your Clinic or Account Information for how these are managed.
All users can see each other's prescriptions
Visibility is shared across the clinic account. Every user underneath the same clinic account can see the prescriptions issued by every other user on that account, not just their own.
This gives your team a shared view of prescribing activity across the clinic, useful for cover, handovers, and general oversight of patient care.
