Payment & Delivery is the last of the four sections in the prescription form, alongside Patient Information, Clinical Information, and Prescription Items. To reach it, select Prescriptions in the left-hand menu, then Create Prescription (or open an existing prescription to amend), and complete the first three sections.
Choose who pays
Set Payment by to answer who will pay for this prescription.
Patient: the patient receives a notification requesting payment, and delivery is arranged once it is paid.
Clinic: the clinic covers the cost and the patient is contacted only to arrange delivery.
Adjust the prescription fee and phone payment
Turn on "Omit prescription fee" to waive the clinic fee. When this is on, the patient is not charged the clinic's additional prescription fee.
Turn on "Take payment over the phone" if the patient prefers. The Healistic team calls the patient and takes their payment details. This is useful for patients with limited access to technology.
